Season 9 will be the last for “The Office”

NBC is closing The Office.

The veteran comedy — and NBC’s highest-rated scripted series (gulp!) — will conclude after the upcoming ninth season.

This makes me sad, but happy for the 9 seasons the show had.

Don’t forget the Season 9 premiere airs September 20.
