“When comic Angela Kinsey landed the role of the prudish Angela Martin on “The Office,” she was given one line to help her develop the character.

“It was, ‘I don’t want to say anything bad about anyone, but …,’ ” Kinsey says.

And from that snitty phrase, the wicked Angela was born.

From there, Kinsey, a 36-year-old improvisational actor from Los Angeles’ Improv Olympics group, took the ball and ran with it.”
